Together, we make STEAM fun and exciting!

STEAM, especially STEM, subjects can be very challenging. They are so daunting that many kids shun away from them. But like any challenging sport, they can be fun, fulfilling and rewarding, if kids get opportunities to start exploring and getting inspired in STEAM activities early in their learning journey. The key is early exposure. Research shows that most kids who pursue a STEAM career path in their later life start exploration in STEAM activities during their early childhood years.
We have science museums, school-based STEAM programs like science fairs, math competitions, Science Olympia, etc. However, community-based STEAM education programs offer unique experiences in that these programs promote a communal culture of science and technology very much like community sports programs. It takes a village to raise a child. It’s not just a slogan. It’s our motto. We founded the RISE Foundation to: Offer fun, hands-on STEAM activities Mentor kids with strong interest in STEAM to be the next generation STEAM leaders so our program can bootstrap itself into future generations We believe, with our efforts and advocacy, more kids will not only fall in love with STEAM like we did, but also become STEAM leaders.
